Quote Compare

Review and compare multiple carrier quotes with Highwing's interactive in-app comparison tool

Overview

1. From the placement, mark documents as a quote or upload new quote file(s). Assign the quoted lines of business and save. You have the option to rename the document if desired.
2. Highwing will email a notification when each quote is ready to be added to a comparison.
3. Navigate to the Quotes tab to view extraction status. Once the status is Completed, quote(s) can be selected to compare. Click "Add to New Compare".
   1. "Completed" status: ready for comparison
   2. "In Progress" status: currently being extracted, you'll be notified when they're ready for comparison
   3. "Unsupported" status: lines of business that are not currently supported for comparison
4. Quotes will be displayed side by side for comparison. Sections can be collapsed for each line of business. You can drag and drop carrier columns to reorder.
5. Clicking the export arrow next to the account name to download an excel file of the quote comparison.
6. To navigate back to the placement, click on the account name at the top of the comparison.

Timing

Highwing will email you within 24-48 hours letting you know each quote has been structured and is ready for comparison. The user that marked the file as a quote will get the notification.

FAQs

Which lines of business can be compared in Highwing?

• Supported lines of business (LOBs):
  • Auto
  • General Liability
  • Workers’ Compensation
  • Property
  • Umbrella
• Unsupported LOBs will not be included in the comparison. Any quotes that contain both supported and unsupported LOBs will allow comparison of the supported LOBs.

Are the quotes structured using AI?

• AI is used in this process, as well as a human in the loop to verify accuracy

Can I download the comparison?

• Quote comparison spreadsheets can be downloaded to excel by clicking the export arrow icon next to the account name at the top of each comparison screen

Which Carriers are supported?

• Highwing can extract quotes from any carrier, MGA, MGU or wholesaler

What type of files are supported?

• PDF or Excel

How do I provide feedback?

• Innovation suggestions, bugs or quality inconsistencies can be reported by submitting a ticket to support@highwing.io or to your Client Success Manager
