Completing Placements

Updating market outcomes and completing your placement

Overview

Once the marketing process is complete, update the Submission Status to Bound or Declined to indicate market outcomes. Then complete your placement to finalize the process.

Bound and Declined Status

  • If you bound lines of business with multiple carriers, select the corresponding bound lines when you update each market. The remaining lines not bound with that carrier will be grayed out. If you need to change the outcomes, re-open the market and it will revert your selection.
  • When you update a market to bound or declined, you will have the option to save and export the conversation transcript. If you export the transcript, it will be emailed to you along with any attachments from your conversations. These attachments are also available in your Documents tab within the carrier folders.
  • Bound/Declined statuses will be automatically date/time stamped by the platform within each market conversation. If desired, add a market note for bind/declination outcomes to pull to the Market Log.
  • Export a Market Log at any time showing the carriers, lines of business, and notes specific to each market. This will be emailed to you and loaded into your Documents tab. View the Market Log knowledge article for more info.

Completing your Placement

  • Update the marketing timeline and click "Complete Placement". The placement will be removed from your home page and you’re all set!
  • Your placement will remain on your My Placements home page until it is completed.
  • If you need to reopen the placement, go to the Completed Placement section within your client (click on the client name from the placement, or search the client name) and click "Reopen Placement" in the menu with 3 dots.

  • Placements can also be completed from your My Placements page by expanding the marketing timeline.
