Navigating 'My Workspace'
Track and manage your clients and placements for upcoming policy renewals
Overview
The My Placements page in Highwing shows your clients with policies coming up for renewal within 120 days as active placements.
Highwing automatically tracks each user’s existing clients to provide a personalized workspace. Users are able to easily see and sort through all active and upcoming placements in one, centralized view. From this page, brokers can click directly into the placement detail screen by clicking onto a placement card.
This article will overview the process for:
- Total Active Placements
- Notifications
- Placement Cards
- Sorting Placements
- Archiving Placements
- My Clients
Total Active Placements
Total Active Placements displays a user’s total upcoming placements with renewals within 120 days. We can see in the image below, this user has 10 total active placements.
Notifications
Notifications can be viewed by clicking the “🔔 “ icon in the top right corner of the screen. These notifications may include:
- Inbound Carrier Interest tagged by a Carriers' underwriter
- Inbound Message from a Carrier's underwriter
- Submission Status Updates (Travelers specific: submission received, submission under review, quote received)
More information about notifications can be found here.
Placement Cards
The placement card provides you the basic information about the upcoming placement including the expiration date and the number of policies expiring on that date. Placement cards group together a client’s policies which have the same upcoming expiration dates. ( Note: A client can have multiple placement cards in My Workspace if the client has policies which expire at different dates. Keep reading for details on how to archive placements. )
If the tag icon is highlighted in teal on the placement card, that indicates a carrier has “tagged” this client and policy in their systems as one of interest.
If the message icon is highlighted in teal in the placements card, that indicates there’s an ongoing conversation with underwriters.
Clicking on each placement card will bring the user to the Placement Details page for further information on the client and placement.
Placements can be expanded to show which policies are included with that expiration date.
Sorting Placements
To sort active placements, use the carrot > next to Client name or Expiration date
Archiving Placements
The “My Placements” page groups policies with the same expiration date in the next 120 days. If you see a placement that you do not need to renew, or you’d like to process with another placement, you can archive it.
Using the three-dot menu to the right of the placement, select “Archive Placement”. Select the reason(s) and it will be removed from the My Placements page.
To view the archived placements, go to the client details and view the “Inactive Placements”. Hover over the information circle to see the archive details. Placements can be Reopened and they will reappear on My Placements.
My Clients
The 'My Clients' page includes all Clients assigned to you as a servicing team member, not just those coming up for renewal in 120 days.
Adding Servicing Team Members
Servicing team members for each account will reflect the account team members in your AMS. Once a servicing team member is added, they will see placements on their My Placements home page as well as their My Clients page.
Manually add other team members by following these steps:
- Click into the Client account
- From a placement, click on the client name at the top
- From the global search, click into the client
- Click on 'Edit Servicing Team'
- Search for your team members and add them with the + icon
- Click Save and Confirm
